Power Stock Setups

December 27, 2021

Since I ran out of time this week, here is a quick video of some a simple way to find setups on the Power-investing.com website.  While designed to allow you to explore all levels of the market, a quick way to find moving stocks is to use the Universe Relative Strength Rankings.  It not only shows you the strongest, but lets you sort by the listed criteria that you find most valuable.  In this video we will use the RS mover sort to find the best looking gainers of the bunch.  The list of movers is over 250 stocks, but in the list at the bottom, I willowed it down a bit to 70 or so names.

Chart Highlights

I jumped right in and went straight to setups, below are a few I didn’t get to in the video

$CDW was one I wanted to look at in the video, but couldn’t get to pull up.  Flagging just above the recent breakout with daily and weekly RSIs near 60 and in bull ranges.  both above rising MA bands.

$LINC is an education name forming a nice weekly ascending triangle with both daily and weekly in RSI bull ranges.

$RICK is a leader in the enterainment space and is breaking out again today from a big weekly pattern.

$GIL an active wear name that is also nearing a big breakout spot. daily and weekly RSI both have room higher if we do get the breakout.
